WATCH: Jon Stewart Figures Out What Fox News Is Trying To Distract Us From

Fox News accuses President Obama of using anything — including the killing of Osama bin Laden — as a distraction from the economy, except when he’s trying to distract from his “scandals.”

But The Daily Show‘s Jon Stewart has finally figured out what Fox News is really trying to distract its viewers from.

“Unless, of course, Fox News is attempting to distract us from noticing that, rather [than] being a news organization, they’re a spite-driven anger machine rooted in a fear that any change in the status quo will inevitably erode our nation’s traditional power structure, leading to internment camps for ‘Real ‘Muricans,’ powered by solar energy and tacos,” he said, in a segment aired Tuesday night. “Wait — hard-shell gay tacos.”

And the right hates when anyone points out that Fox News — their reality show for people who hate reality — is just a propaganda machine created to undermine liberal governance. Unfortunately for them, the president himself called attention to this unassailable fact in his interview with Bill O’Reilly before the Super Bowl.
